New in: Play at Slaep!

Een jaar geleden kreeg ontwerpster Marsha de Ruwe de vraag of ze geen babyitems wilde gaan ontwerpen en zo ging ze aan de slag met in haar achterhoofd de voor haar nieuwe merk belangrijke speerpunten; duurzaamheid, betaalbaarheid, stijl en niet onbelangrijk -> heel veel speelplezier! Het resultaat: Play at Slaep, een merk met een hart waar de items met gevoel voor stijl ontworpen zijn en met liefde in elkaar gezet worden in de sociale werkplaats in Amsterdam.

“Wat heel belangrijk voor ons is is dat kindjes met hun kleine handjes kunnen zien en voelen wat ze in hun handen hebben door verschillende vormen te gebruiken in 1 object. Is het hoekig, is het rond en hun oortjes horen ook nog wat! Perfect voor het ontwikkelen van hun fijne motoriek en ook nog eens mooi om te zien. Speelgoed waarvan het niet erg is als het rondslingert in huis.” Vertelt Marsha lachend.

Het merk bestaat nu net 1 jaar en wordt al in 10 landen verkocht in streng geselecteerde verkooppunten. CozyKidz is blij daar bij te horen. We hebben de rammelaars en de speenkoorden in onze collectie opgenomen. Allemaal met bijzondere vormen en kleuren en voor iedereen wat wils. En Marsha heeft gelijk, deze items zijn zo mooi dat het helemaal niet erg is als ze ergens in huis rondslingeren. Sterker nog, je wil ze wel in het zicht hebben! Want kijk nou zelf hoe mooi ze zijn!

One of our favorite things to do is finding new brands for our webshop. And when we come across a Dutch gem while doing this our heart just skips a beat. And it did when we spotted the newest brand in our webshop: Play at Slaep.

One year ago designer Marsha de Ruwe was asked to start thinking about designing some items for babies. And so she did while constantly keeping her own important standards in mind; durability, style, affordability and most important it had to be fun to play with and trigger the senses. The result: Play at Slaep, a brand with a heart were all items are designed with great sense of style and put together with love in a social working place in Amsterdam.

“It’s very important to us that the kids with their tiny hands can see and feel what they have in their hands by using different shapes and materials in 1 item. Is it round or not, and ofcourse they hear the items too! Perfect to develop their fine motorskills and also nice to look at. And ofcourse I wanted something that would be appreciated for it’s design and look by parents too, you know toys do tend to lie around the house everywhere.” Marsha laughs.

The brand is now 1 year old and is already being sold in 10 countries in selected shops. CozyKidz is happy to be one of these shops. We have the rattles and pacifier clips in our collection. All with gorgeous shapes and colors. You will definitely find one that you and your little one will fall in love with.
